Shortening the Ride Tomorrow

Tomorrow’s weather forecast has been consistently calling for snow in the late afternoon. I guess I’ll finally take their word for it. So, with Dave Hops’ inside knowledge, I’ve shortened the route to 50 miles. We’ll have to settle for brunch at Bob Evans and leave Havre de Grace for a later date.

New Route Map: ShortedWintersRun
Cue Sheet: CUESHEET
Exit from Baltimore is still the same: leaving Montebello at 7:30AM.

See ya tomorrow     -Bob

Tom, with a 7:30 start and only 50 miles we should be back in town by 1 or 2PM. I expect we’ll be fine.

Precipitation looks to potentially start about 4-5 pm. That said a bike in the snow on the road with cars is not the greatest.

You are right on the mark. I was fretting over whether to keep the route on its namesake road or not. I decided against it only because Singer can get quick and heavy with traffic. The left on to Winters seemed a little unsafe so I nixed it. Also, I heard there was some construction going on along that stretch of Philadelphia.

You could still keep Winters Run in the ride – Singer to Winters Run to Philly Road to Clayton to Stockton. Clayton is a nice ride from Philadelphia Rd. to Singer little hilly, but not bad.

    I’ll bring a few extras.

This is good, thanks! See you then. Can you bring an extra cue sheet? Thanks
